We need the whole counsel of God
Pastors should preach and teach the whole counsel of God, and we should be ready to receive it.
I had a busy week last week, so I haven't been able to write as much, but I wanted to share an excerpt from a sermon from John Piper that he preached at Together for the Gospel earlier this month.
The sermon is entitled "Christ Died to Make Us Holy; And Why Some Preachers Avoid It."
He criticizes those pastors who avoid specific topics to avoid a label:
