The Iowa Senate passed SF 514 by a mostly 34 to 15 partisan vote on Tuesday. I largely support the bill and Gov. Kim Reynolds’ vision for streamlining state government in Iowa.
It has been forty years since any significant reform to the organizational chart has taken place and it is time.
