Pretending Trump isn't the frontrunner
Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley are running their campaigns like former President Donald Trump isn't up by over 30 points in the polls in Iowa.
I look at the polling in Iowa, and I have to ask why is Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley focused on fighting each other?
Neither candidate is the front runner.
The front runner,and the way the polls are looking, the presumptive Republican nominee is Donald Trump.
You would not know that by the press releases each campaign sends out ads they release.
Largely ignoring the former president will not help either of them win. Competing for second place is just being first loser. Do either think Trump would pick them as a running mate?
And why would they want that? Look how well that went for Mike Pence's political ambitions post-vice presidency.
Here is reality. In three December polls, Donald Trump leads by an average of 30.7 percent. In the lastest two polls, he has more support than all of his challengers combined.
