It's time to turn down the temperature

If anything, the failed assassination attempt on former President Trump should show that we need to stop demonizing our opponents.

Like many of you, the failed attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump shocked and appalled me. I am sad that a 50-year-old father, husband, and firefighter, Corey Comperatore, lost his life attending a political rally, and that others were critically wounded. I am grateful that President Trump survived.
