Iowa's Open Records Law applies even to the Governor
There should be a timeliness standard to fulfill open records requests and even the Governor of Iowa should be held to that standard.
The Iowa Supreme Court on Friday ruled that a lawsuit filed by Laura Belin of Bleeding Heartland, Clark Kaufmann of Iowa Capital Dispatch, and Randy Evans of the Iowa Freedom of Information Council against Gov. Kim Reynolds and some of her current and former staff over open records law violations could proceed.
