Iowa state legislative races to watch on Election Night
Here are some battleground races to watch as returns come on Election Night.
Over the weekend, I looked at the voter registration numbers and the amount of money that the Republican Party of Iowa and Iowa Democratic Party are investing in each race.
Any election is ultimately based on voter turnout, what party’s base is energized and who did a better job turning out that base, as well as, the mood of independent voters. If polling is any indication it is going to be a good night for Republicans, but there are a number of races that look to be competitive.
