Every Square Inch

Abraham Kuyper’s best-known words came near the end of the public address he delivered at the inauguration of the Free University of Amsterdam on October 20, 1880:

“There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry: ‘Mine!’”
