A win for life in Iowa

I'm thankful that the Iowa Supreme Court overturned an injunction preventing the state's six-week abortion ban from going into effect.

The Iowa Supreme Court overturned a district court injunction of Iowa’s six-week abortion ban on Friday by a 4-3 decision.

The ban is now in effect and restricts abortion to before a fetal heartbeat is detected (approximately six weeks) with exceptions for the life of the mother, and cases of rape and incest.
